Kimchi Bambi Blue

Okay, okay, so I have FINALLY gotten off my lazy bum and started to write a new circle lens review. These, again, were bought (along with many, many other lenses that deserves a nice review) at I.Candy! Again, I have to say that the seller is extremely nice and she has a pretty loyal fanbase because of that reason.

Onto the review!

Kimchi Bambi Blue

Now, this is a pair of lens that I could wear daily over and over again! This is the first blue lens that I bought that the color is the same as the stock photos! I only bought these because GEO didn't produce the blue color (although they should, they're definitely losing out on the market!) and I am always itching to find that perfect blue lens.

The bottles are so pretty! Just like i.fairy lens, they are packaged in a smaller bottle.

Oh, they're blue, they're REALLY blue! (in natural light)

They're a little more vibrant with flash, but this just shows you how vibrant it really is in real life!

SUPER CLOSE UP TIME!

Color: 10/10. THE COLOR, MAN, THE COLORS! Oh my, I don't think I've ever been this much in love with a contact lens, in like, well forever. I mean, the Bambi style lens are pretty much an A+++ in my book, with the added vibrancy of the lens really brings this to like a 20/10. People can ACTUALLY tell you have blue eyes. This was a problem I have had with lenses such as the GEO Super Angel in Blue, that it was vibrant in my hands, not in my eyes.
Enlargement: 10/10. If anyone else has bought the original GEO Bambis, they will know how enlarging 15mm already is. Strangely though, I don't think that this lens gives me bug eyes or anything
Comfort: 8/10. I've never worn the Kimchi brand (as it is a fairly new brand), but I think that they should be on par with i.fairy. The stated label on the bottle says that they have 55% water content. However, I'd say that these are a tad drying on my eyes, so I give the comfort level a little less than I would give my i.fairys.
Overall: 10/10. I. LOVE. THESE. LENS. That is all. I will be wearing these quite often as they're one of the few lens that I bought that were true to color. *huggles*

Recent purchases~

Strapya World is having free EMS shipping (!!!) with the code "ATSUIDESUNE" (translation: "it's hot!"), so I decided to take advantage of it. However, you can only use the code once per account...:P So after my first purchase, I made my boyfriend create an account so I can buy more cute cute stuff. Anyways, with the economy going to a huge halt in the next few months, you should stock up before prices goes up crazily, right!

TheDollyEye(x5)
Okay, okay, so I went a little girl crazy at finding Candy Doll at such cheap prices. I kept on making new purchases after hearing more and more about Tsubasa Masukawa (of DollyWink, Liz Lisa fame)'s new makeup line. Also, I haven't really tried makeup bases, so I decided now was a good time than never to try them!
  • DollyEye lens in Gray
  • Candy Doll Blush in Strawberry Pink
  • Candy Doll Blush in Carrot Orange
  • Candy Doll Mineral Powder in Crystal Pearl
  • Candy Doll Makeup Base in 01
BonjourHK(x1)
For those who can't get Melliesh through normal ways, I definitely recommend going through Bonjour. They seem to be constantly out of stock, but if you're interested in the site, buying two or more Melliesh items already more than enough covers the price of the original items (all Melliesh prices are at least 30% off!)...plus it's way cheaper and safer than ebay!
  • Melliesh LipGloss #02
  • Melliesh LipGloss #06
  • Melliesh Blush #01
  • DollyWink Cream Eyeshadow in Silver

Ebay(x1)
I've always wanted to try long, dark hair. Unfortunately, due to dyeing it all the time, my hair has become brittle, so I wanted to try it for once. Plus it was $13 with free shipping! You can't beat that!
  • Long Dark Brown Wig

Strapya World(x2)
Okay, I won't even begin to mention how I furiously scoured the site after I learned that they had free shipping (Dude, shipping is normally like 13$ for EMS!). I limited myself to a few items, but .. looking at the site always makes me want more :(
  • Hello Kitty Floppy Bunny Ball Chain
  • Hello Kitty Bag Hanger Keychain
  • Pink Gold necklace with Pink Heart Topaz
  • RikkaKuma Pouch
i.candy contact lens(x1)
love the seller, Mayako, as always the nicest girl out there! Plus, I really can't beat her cheap prices :D
  • Kimchi Bambi in Blue
  • Kimchi Bambi in Violet
  • Kimchi Mio in Brown
  • i.fairy Moe Moe in Gray

I have my eye on the Nars highlighting blush in New Order. . . It's so tempting and I'm sure it would be much better than Candy Doll's highlighting blush (Although the packaging won't be as cute!)

:( Going on a shopping ban soon though...

i.fairy Dolly+ Brown Review!

Finally, I have gotten my lazy butt to review my latest lens and what I like to think my most gorgeous pair of brown/golden lens that I've owned so far!

These lenses were bought from i.candy contact lens with my own money, so this is my own opinion of the website as well as the lens! I have to say though, i.candy is seriously THE BEST blogsite to buy i.fairy lens from. I bought from one of her sprees and it only cost me about $16.50 per i.fairy circle lens, which is one of the cheapest that I've found so far! Also, shipping took only a week and a half, versus my malaysian orders, which have taken over ...three weeks. The owner of the site, Mayako, is a really sweet girl and you guys should definitely check out her site!

Anyhoo, onto the review...

These are seriously the most comfortable and one of the more enlarging lens that I own. I think that this is due to the large space for the iris. It makes me look like I have serious anime eyes!

My, what large eyes you have...

Close-up of the lens itself, see how the large hole for the pupil makes your eyes look even larger?

>w< The lens are so pretty!

Color: 10/10. Usually brown lenses do nothing for me, I put them on merely for the enlarging effect. However, these Dolly+ lens are inbetween super golden and light brown, which is love.
Enlargement: 10/10. Again, I believe that someone on the web posted that the true diameter of these lenses are around 14.8mm, but these lenses sure do give me huge anime eyes!
Comfort: 10/10. Because of the high water content, i.fairy lenses never ceases to amaze me with how long I can wear them. I can literally put them on and never feel like I'm wearing lenses in my eyes, which is great!
Overall: 10/10. Again, from the wonderful service that I got from i.candy, I've been wearing these lenses each day for the past week! That's saying a lot as I've got like over 30 pairs that are just sitting around in my cabinet!

By the way, I finally used my Chanel Topaki Quad, the design of the eye shadow was too nice so I was scared to use it. But I had to because I'm not a hoarder! As you can see, the eye shadow are all very very nice and give this soft girly look to my face. Love.

i.Fairy Keizen Blue ~

Wee, my first circle lens review!

This review is for the i.fairy Keizen Blue, which I was totally enamored with after looking at stock photos online. I bought these from fobbybarbie.com and shipping took a whoppin' 3 weeks, but I was happy because I got my lenses in the end! One thing I will comment on is that they packaged my order in...magazines? They literally took the vials and wrapped it in some pages of a magazines and shipped it (=.=) I was surprised that my lenses were not packed a little better, especially due to the higher price that I paid for i.fairy lens at that site.

i.fairy Keizen Blue

The little devils soaking in contact solution

In Natural Light (Sorry, forgot to post a flash picture :( )

Super up-close picture. See the halo?

Color: 7/10. I usually hate darker color lenses, especially for blues, because I can't stand the fact that they make my eyes look like murky sewage water. However, even though Keizen wasn't the type of super bright blue that was advertised in stock photos, I loved these! The yellowish brown ring at the center really made the lenses blend with my natural eye color.
Enlargement: 10/10. Although these lenses are advertised as 16.2 mm, I believe the true diameter to be more like 14.8mm or 15mm. My eyes are bigger and tend not to get that lovely halo effect, but with these lenses, I was able to! Love!
Comfort: 10/10. These are my first i.fairy lenses, and they will definitely not be my last! Due to the higher water content (55%), these lenses lasted me through 8 hours of being outside in the blistering heat without feeling uncomfortable. I think these are even more comfortable than my EOS lenses, which is saying a LOT.
Overall: 8/10. I love these lenses because of the comfort and how natural my lenses looked on my eyes. However, I wish they were brighter in real life.
